Meeting of the Patient Safety and Quality of Care Working Group

On 18 December 2014, CED's Nina Bernot and Aleksandra Sanak attended a meeting of the Commission-led Patient Safety and Quality of Care Working Group in Brussels.

Representatives of the Italian Ministry of Health presented the Council conclusions on patient safety adopted under the Italian Presidency, under which Member States and the Commission are requested to propose by December 2016 a framework for a sustainable EU collaboration on patient safety, to continue the work started under the PaSQ Joint Action in which the CED participates as an associated partner.
