CED PRESIDENT

Meeting with CPME President

On 28 January 2015, CED President Dr Wolfgang Doneus met with CPME President Dr Katrín Fjeldsted in Brussels. Coming a year after the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organistions, the meeting focused on the many areas of good cooperation between the CED and the CPME.

The Presidents reviewed the joint activities during the past year such as the CPD study and the second leaflet on antimicrobial resistance. They agreed to attempt to formulate joint positions whenever possible and to communicate them to the European Institutions in a coordinated manner, as demonstrated by the joint meeting with the EU Health Comimissioner on the same day.
