Representatives of CED member and observer organisations met in Brussels, Belgium on 20 November 2015 for a regular six-monthly General Meeting, under the chairmanship of the outgoing President Dr. Wolfgang Doneus. During the plenary session, the CED members elected Dr. Marco Landi as new CED President for a three-year term. Dr. Hans Schrangl (Austria) and Dr. Piret Väli (Estonia) were elected as Directors and Dr. Alexander Tolmeijer was re-elected as Director. They join the current Directors Dr. Pirkko Grönroos (Finland), Dr. Roland L'Herron (France), Dr. Peter Engel (Germany) and Dr. Susie Sanderson (United Kingdom). The new CED Board assumed its powers on 21 November. The CED members also discussed the Professional Qualifications Directive and renewed mandates of CED Working Groups Infection Control, Amalgam and Other Restorative Materials and Tooth Whitening Products.
